Text

Daniel, Ahiqar, Joseph and Esther are compared as foreign-court narratives involving a riddle, accusation, survival or promotion. Characters, purposes and sources of rescue differ; the label describes narrative form, not one origin-chain or shared authorial date. [1][2][5][7][9]
