Christian incarnation
A reference page linking a name, group, or concept to the materials that discuss it.
The Word becoming flesh; distinct from every divine body or sensible manifestation.
Text
John 1:14 is central to incarnation language. It prevents describing Christian history as one removal of embodiment, while leaving the meaning of divine nature to be examined. [1]
Wilson also offers an embodied reading of Luke–Acts. This particular thesis does not establish that all Christian authors understood manifestation and incarnation identically. [2]
