Text

In Daniel7:9–10 the designation conveys antiquity and authority within a heavenly vision. The passage describes white clothing and head hair like wool, without mentioning a beard.[1] Scholars compare it with the elderly El; comparison does not make every detail identical or prove copying a statue.[2]
